THE NHS COUNTER FRAUD TRAINING CENTRE

The NHS Counter Fraud and Security Management Service (CFSMS) has specialist training centres in Reading and Coventry. These have acquired a reputation as centres of excellence, providing the highest quality skills-based training in the fields of fraud investigation and security management, and related areas.

The counter fraud modules are nationally recognised and university-accredited. They can earn individuals a number of credits that result in the qualification of Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist. This qualification can be put towards a continuing programme of academic study.

Creating a series of training modules for the new NHS counter fraud profession gave us the opportunity to set in place a complete learning route that could lead staff from their technical training all the way through to a degree-level programme if they wished.

We provide a range of training courses to support counter fraud specialists in their work.
